How We Help Artists – Our 3 Gs
Where It All Started
A chance encounter at Batey Hackathon 2021 sparked AKAR CO.'s (then dreamALIVE) mission. What began as 5 strangers with a shared passion for the performing arts identified a gap in support for young artists. Witnessing our friends struggle to turn their dreams into reality, we saw a need for a safe place that empowers emerging talents. AKAR CO. was born, transitioning from a hackathon concept into a full-fledged marketing and talent agency dedicated to nurturing Singapore's next generation of musical stars.
Our Motivation
Our combined 25+ years of experience as performers ourselves revealed that Singapore's performing arts scene lacked a guiding light for young performers. Faced with limited resources and a lack of direction, these artists often felt overwhelmed and hesitant. This realisation fueled the creation of AKAR CO., a talent agency dedicated to empowering Singapore's next generation of performing artists.
